Gwynne underwent a bilateral mastectomy after receiving a devastating breast cancer diagnosis. Initially faced with a numb chest, she was grateful to find a reconstruction option that offered the potential of returned sensation. Her breasts were reconstructed using the Resensation surgical technique,and Gwynne is moving on with her life, including enjoying the feeling of her granddaughter’s hugs.
