Jesse Bishop

Jesse Bishop joined Axogen in February 2025, bringing over 13 years of leadership experience in regulatory strategy and planning, as well as expertise in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). His background spans cell and gene therapies, biologics, vaccines, medical devices, and combination products.

Prior to joining Axogen, Mr. Bishop held regulatory leadership positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific – Viral Vector Services, RGI Medical Manufacturing, Ology Bioservices, and Lacerta Therapeutics.

A former U.S. Army Special Operations Ranger Team Leader and Combat Medic, Mr. Bishop leverages his strong leadership and problem-solving skills in all aspects of his work. He holds a dual Master’s degree in Medical Sciences and Business Administration from the University of Florida.
