Craig Swandal

Mr. Swandal joined Axogen in January 2025 as the Vice President of Operations. With over 25 years of operational leadership experience in medical device, he brings a wealth of expertise in leading high-growth, global manufacturing companies. His career spans a broad spectrum of organizations, from agile startups to Fortune 500 corporations, specializing in industries such as cardiovascular, visualization, and electrosurgical technologies.

Throughout his career, Mr. Swandal has held senior leadership roles at prominent organizations, including Tendyne (Abbott Labs), Meier Tool and Engineering, ATS Medical, and Gyrus Medical (Olympus). His expertise encompasses global manufacturing strategy planning and execution, where he has driven operational excellence and success in scaling manufacturing operations.

In addition to his corporate experience, Mr. Swandal served as a Director on the Board of APYX Medical from March 2018 to November 2024. He has also served as a strategic advisor and board member for Tiumed LLC since April 2018, providing valuable insight and guidance in the medical technology space.

Mr. Swandal holds a Mini MBA in Medical Technology from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and Communications from Concordia University.
